Hi David,
I am writing to request a five-day extension on the Q2 financial reporting deadline, currently scheduled for
this Friday, June 13.
Due to the ongoing migration from our legacy ERP to the new cloud-based system, the automated
reconciliation feeds have been offline since Monday. As a result, the team has had to validate all incoming
statements manually, which has added roughly 30 hours of additional work to our close process. We also
discovered a mapping discrepancy in the revenue recognition module that requires IT support to resolve
before we can finalize the numbers.
I am requesting a revised submission date of Wednesday, June 18. This would give us time to complete
the manual validation, run the final reconciliation once the feeds are restored (expected Monday), and
perform our standard review cycle without sacrificing accuracy.
I understand this shifts the review schedule and am happy to discuss how we can compress the
leadership review phase to minimize downstream impact.
