Privacy Policy
This page explains what information Examples.com collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It reflects our commitment to handling your data transparently and carefully.
Examples.com lets you generate, edit, and download real-world examples using AI. Doing that involves processing what you type, what you upload, and what you create. This policy covers all of it.
We may update this policy from time to time by revising this page. Material changes will be noted with a revised effective date, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version.

Information We Collect
We collect three kinds of information. First, information you give us: your email address and password when you create an account, and any details you add to your profile. Second, content you provide: the prompts you write, the files or images you upload, and the projects you generate and save. Third, information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and general usage patterns.
Your Account and Saved Projects
Browsing examples does not require an account. Creating an account lets us save your projects so you can return to them, and lets you access advanced export and batch features. Your saved projects are private to your account unless you choose to publish or share them. You can delete individual projects at any time from your account, or request deletion of your entire account.
Content You Generate and AI Processing
To generate a result, your prompt and any uploaded content are sent to AI model providers acting on our behalf. These providers process your input to return a result and are bound by contract to use it only for that purpose. Generated outputs belong to you, subject to our Terms of Use. Do not enter sensitive personal information — such as government identification numbers, financial account details, or health information — into prompts or uploads.
Community Voting and Public Content
Some examples are surfaced through community voting. If you vote, comment, or submit feedback, that activity may be visible to others or used in aggregate to rank examples. Comments and feedback published by users reflect their own views. Examples.com does not endorse, warrant, or subscribe to any opinion or information posted by users.
Using Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and support advertising. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site — including sign-in and the editor — from working correctly.
Analytics and Advertising
We use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. Parts of Examples.com are supported by advertising, and advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization through your Google Ads Settings or through industry opt-out tools.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate the service and generate your results, save and restore your projects, authenticate you and keep accounts secure, respond to support requests, analyze usage so we can improve features, detect abuse and fraud, and send service or product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in limited circumstances: with service providers who host our infrastructure, process payments, deliver email, run analytics, or provide AI models — each acting under contract and only as needed to perform their function; when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or threats to safety; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
Data Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Saved projects are retained until you delete them or close your account. Usage and log data is retained for a limited period for security and analytics purposes. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain records by law.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, receive a copy of your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach affecting your personal information where required by law.
Children’s Privacy
Examples.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International Users
Examples.com is operated globally and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Links to Other Sites
Our content includes ads and links that lead to other websites, some of which we may monetize. These are provided for advertising and reference purposes. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies of sites we do not operate, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.
