STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
|
With an aim to pursue a career in the field that integrates Biochemistry and Biology, I,
want to upgrade my skills and knowledge with advanced proficiency in this domain. To achieve this, I have
chosen the
Molecular Biology at University of ABC in Germany
as my next step. This master’s program
will provide me with the opportunity to learn from leading experts, access cutting-edge facilities, and
enhance my qualifications.
Germany became my preferred destination for higher studies because of its reputation for excellence in
education and its globally recognized degrees. As an international student, I will benefit from the quality,
practicality, and safety of the German education system. I will also experience the cultural diversity,
network with professionals, and access more and better career opportunities with a German degree.
Seeking these benefits, I chose this destination.

In continuation of pursuing my passion for science, I pursued a Bachelor of Technology
(Biomedical Engineering) from ABC University, India with
German Grade: 1.62
. Then I took admission in
Master of Engineering (Medical Electronics) from XYZ University, India and completed it with (
German
Grade: 1.56
). I've participated in a number of training programs to broaden my understanding about the
field. Additionally, my project on “Automated Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitator” on retrieving patient’s life
back from cardiac arrest gave me opportunity to learn about human and machine mechanism and a sense
of giving back to society. Taking part in internships and symposium, twice, I have won 1st place in National
Level Paper Presentation, in years XX and YY. I am proficient with use of English language and have cleared
IELTS getting an overall band score of 8.5
. Since 2021, I am working on a role of Assistant Professor in
Department of Biomedical Engineering at .

Reading the above facts, I became motivated to gain admission to this college.
I aspire to join the ABC University’s master’s program in Molecular Biology to accumulate knowledge in
the domain of molecular biology through a wide range of topics covered by the program such as molecular
biology, cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, developmental biology, structural biology, genetics,
neuroscience, immunology, microbiology, bioinformatics, and biotechnology. The program is
international and research-oriented. It offers deep and specialized learning in the molecular biology field.
The program combines theoretical lectures with practical training in all the major areas of molecular
biosciences during the three semesters having a total of 90 ECTS. I believe that this program will help me
take the first step towards my long-term goals.
I am sure that I have right skills, aptitude and education to pursue this program. I firmly believe that
studying at your institution will give me the firm foundation that I will need for the future. I am convinced
