I. MOTIVATION & ACADEMIC VISION
I am writing to express my strong motivation for applying to the DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Courses
(EPOS) Scholarship to pursue a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Systems Engineering in Germany. Having
earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Technology and accumulated three years of professional
experience as an Energy Systems Analyst, my overarching goal is to spearhead decentralized renewable grid
transitions in developing industrial sectors. Germany's position as a global leader in the *Energiewende* makes it the
ideal academic home for my advanced training.
II. ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
During my undergraduate studies at the National Institute of Technology, I graduated in the top 5% of my class
(CGPA: 8.9/10), specializing in thermodynamic modeling and solar thermal technologies. In my current role at
CleanGrid Innovations, I led the technical feasibility assessment for a 15 MW microgrid project, reducing regional
fossil fuel dependence by 28%. This experience highlighted the necessity for deeper expertise in smart grid
integration and energy storage economics—key competencies emphasized in the German curriculum.
