STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
I am Chamarthi. Sravan surya krishna and I strongly feel the need to master the subject of
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. I want to start a new phase in my life with pride and
happiness after successfully completing my undergraduate education at VNR Vignana
Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University, Hyderabad. In the following lines I present my background
and interests in the same.
Firstly, my interest in Business administration stemmed from my childhood seeing my
father managing my family business. I chose Electrical and Electronics engineering
(EEE) as my undergraduate major because I have passion for Technology and latest
gadgets. So I want to start my career after my masters combining my passion for latest
technology and my aim to become a successful business man. So my career Goal is to set
up a business of latest innovative technology with my Business skills and gain a leading
edge in the market with Monopoly.
Secondly, my necessity for master’s degree in Business skills for managing and
developing a successful business. As I invested in some of the small scale business and
trading during my undergraduate major I understand the necessity of managing and
developing skills in a business. Although these investments which I have made incurred
losses but I have gained experience. Though I have some innovative Business ideas I feel
the lack of perfect managing and developing skill’s of successful business so I strongly
feel that this lack can be filled by my Master’s degree.
Additionally, the potential I see in this Masters degree is extreme because every business
needs administration to make business grow to a higher level. So I think business
administration is a potential master’s degree for managing and developing business skills
to make a business successful. With this masters degree I feel that my dream comes true
making me a successful business man.
Moreover, maintaining right balance between academics and extracurricular activities, I
was actively involved in various technical and cultural fests in our college by organizing
and coordinating various events. These activities have given me an opportunity to display
my leadership, communication, teambuilding and management skills.
However, I am of the opinion that theoretical work alone is of little use unless it is
accompanied by practical knowledge. I believe that I would be a suitable the university
since; I have always been inclined towards practical tasks and the everlasting quest to
learn more. This is the kind of education I would want, and one that I know your
university will equip me with.
