Statement of purpose
I am a person who looks to learn something new from each happening that takes place in this world,
from both the natural phenomena as well as the more innovative man made ones. I believe that this thirst
for knowledge is the ultimate aim of life. It is this desire for focused learning that has been the cause for
what I am today and is the major reason for me to pursue my graduate studies.
My school played a crucial role in bringing out the potential in me. At school, I constantly tried to
improve myself academically and my efforts paid off when I got 81% in my twelfth board examinations.
Soon after, I made one of the most important decisions in my life; one that I knew would give me what I
want in terms of knowledge as well as pave the path for my future dreams. I chose to take up my under
graduation in
Electronics and Communication.
My interests in Electronic Circuits were kindled long before I completed high school. I came to
know about Electronic products and their Circuit designs through internet and magazines, which inspired
me to pursue a career in Electronics. I realized that this is just a beginning and there are more to learn in
this frontier than what I knew. So I decided to pursue Electronics and Communication as my
undergraduate course. I got admitted to
SRM University
, Chennai which is one of the reputed private
Universities in
India
.
My undergraduate course transformed me into a better person, where I created a strong platform in
Electronics and a better knowledge of Electricals too, by learning the basic concepts of Circuits in
lectures, laboratory hours, seminars etc. I learnt different Electronic subjects like Digital Systems,
Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processing, Control Systems, Wireless Communication
& Devices, etc. During my undergraduate course, I attended a national level
Workshop
and
Seminar
in
Embedded systems and VLSI design conducted by Anna University, Chennai.
My
final year project
was a Robot based in the field of Electronics. A
Mobile Surveillance
Robot
, used to make surveillance operations possible in regions where a human being cannot enter or is
unsafe to approach like volcanic erupted regions
,
flooded regions and to explore the mystic places like
pyramids
.
The project was inspected by the examiner panel and was awarded top grades for the work
done.
Generally both Electronics and Communication is a dual industry that has changed our lives. In a
very short period it has altered the way we have looked at things since centuries. That is the main reason
