Dear Ms. Greene,
I am writing to formally announce my resignation from my position at XYZ Corporation, effective two weeks from today, February 27, 2024. This decision has been made after considerable thought and reflection on my need to prioritize a more balanced lifestyle between my professional commitments and personal life.
My time at XYZ Corporation has been immensely fulfilling. I have grown professionally and personally, facing challenges that have pushed me to excel and opportunities that have broadened my skill set. For all of this, I am deeply thankful. The support from my colleagues and the leadership team has been unparalleled, making this decision all the more difficult.
However, due to personal reasons that require my immediate attention, I find it necessary to step down from my role to focus on achieving a healthier work-life balance. It is important for me to dedicate time to my family and personal well-being at this juncture.
I am committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. Over the next two weeks, I will ensure all my current projects are up to date and will assist in the handover of my duties. I am more than willing to provide training to my successor and offer my support in any way to ensure a seamless transition.
I hold XYZ Corporation and the team here in high regard, and I am grateful for the mentorship, support, and professional opportunities I have been afforded. While I am saddened to leave, I carry with me invaluable experiences and memories. I hope to maintain the relationships I have built here and look forward to possibly collaborating in the future.
Please let me know the steps I should follow next or how I can assist further during this transition. Thank you again for the opportunity to be a part of XYZ Corporation. I wish the company continued success and growth in the future.
Warmest regards,
Joe Castillo
